Signal
Diagnostics (SDx), provides solutions to identify drug sensitive and drug
resistant pathogens, using our novel (patent pending) technologies.
SDx has pending patent applications
that will change the way scientists detect the presence of DNA and RNA in any
sample. The currently accepted 'gold standard' to perform this type of
analysis is termed PCR (or, polymerase chain reaction), the technique has
benefited tremendously over the past 15 years from fluorescent chemistries
which enable the display of results online and in real-time (known as real-time
PCR (RT-PCR)).
One of the fundamental issues raised with RT-PCR is the requirement for
expensive fluorescently labelled target specific probes, either TaqMan,
Molecular Beacons, or HybProbes, SDx has developed a rapid and sensitive
technique that eliminates the need for such target specific probes with our
patent pending technology, Dynamic Flux Amplification (DFA).

| Need a primary screen? |
Signal
Diagnostics can get your specific test running and screening samples,
often in less time than it takes for our customers to free up the
personnel to start developing the same test themselves. |
| Need a drug resistance screen? |
Drug
sensitivity/resistance screening tests for your specific application,
we are ready to get them running as soon as you are ready to run them. |
